Annual Draw --- 2011

For many years now, the North Oshawa Lions Club's largest annual fund raiser has been a raffle for a classic automobile with the draw held at the annual "Auto Fest" event held here in Oshawa, Ontario in late August.

Last year we broke from that tradition and raffled a brand new 2010 Camaro. This went very well and we would like to thank everyone that helped by purchasing tickets. This year we have returned to the classics by purchasing a 1968 Camaro SS396.

The classic is valued at $40,115.00, with an additional two early bird draws for $1000 each.
Tickets are $5.00 each, 3 for $12.00 or 6 for $20.00 with only 35,000 tickets to be printed.

Draw dates are August 28, 2011 for the car and March 13, 2011 and June 12, 2011 for the early birds.

Winners

We now have a winner for the second of our two early bird draws.
Sunday June 12th, ticket number 001748 was drawn and congratulations now go to
Charles Mills of Smooth Rock Falls as the lucky winner.

Also back on Sunday March 13th, ticket number 005862 was drawn and
Marg Mallory of Oshawa as the lucky winner of that early bird draw.

The winner of the 1968 Camero, drawn on August 28, 2011, is Pierre Gaudreau of Peterborough, Ontario, with ticket 025899.
