We had again purchased a 1968 Camaro Coupe. This one a red "Yenko Tribute Car" -- Serial No. 124378N369373.
The drive train in this was a 427 cu/in V8 engine with a Holly 4 Barrel carburetor mounted to an aluminum intake manifold.
The transmission was a Muncie M-21 close ratio 4 speed with Hurst floor shifter and original positraction rear end.
The suspension was original heavy duty leaf springs and shocks.
The brakes were powered with the front being disc and the rear drum.
The tires were Fuzion ZR-1 with the front as 215 x 50 x 17 and the rear as 255 x 50 x 17.
These were all mounted on 17" x 7" torque thrust wheels.
It also had original gauges with volt meter, oil pressure, fuel, speedometer, water temp and had a tachometer mounted on the dash.
For a radio there was a Delco AM with one front and one rear speaker.
The Odometer showed 18,195 miles.
This classic was valued at $36,940 including taxes with an additional 2 early bird draws for $1,000.00 each and only 30,000 tickets to be printed.
Tickets were $5.00 each, 3 for $12.00 or 6 for $20.00.

The Main Prize Draw was August 30th, 2009 and this year we also had 2 Early Bird Draws the first March 15th, 2009 and the second June 14th, 2009.
Winners
The winner of the first of our two early bird draws was Fred Bichener of Whitby with ticket #04848.
The winner of the second of our two early bird draws was Bryan Danics of Peterborough with ticket #22399.
Sunday August 30th at AutoFest, Mayor John Gray of Oshawa, drew the winning ticket #27280.
Congratulations now go to Doug Russell of Oshawa as the winner of the 1968 Camaro.
